“Measures of sustainable mobility and intrermodality in Ljubljana urban region”, the 2nd round table for the Slovenian case of Inter-Conenct project under the organisation of Regional development agency of Ljubljana urban region (RRA LUR) took place in Ljubljana city hall on 11th of December 2019. The event was co-organised with Institute of Traffic and Transport Ljubljana (PIL) and Municipality of Ljubljana who are cooperating in similar transnational projects on the topics of sustainable mobility.
This was an opportunity to present the results of the analisis of the state of intramodality in the Ljubljana Urban Region as part of the Slovenian case study within Inter-Connect.
In the last section of the event, the discussion on the selection of favourable measures to ensure sustainable mobility in intermodality in the LUR with emphasis on the pilot corridor “Koper-Ljubljana-Brnik Airport” (RDA LUR, Inter-Connect) was being held. Within the discussion, the main current and future mobility related projects in the region and on case study corridor were being discussed.
The next steps for our partner RRA LUR are to finalise the local MoU and reach an agreement with the main stakeholders by the beginning of 2020.
